Current students, faculty, and staff at Yale University can register for a personal New York Times account. Please note: Access is not available to YNHH employees.

To register, complete the following steps:

  • Connect to the Yale network via VPN, the visit https://nytimesineducation.com/access-nyt/

  • Enter Yale in the Find School search box and select Yale University. 

  • Click on the Create Account button. enter your Yale email address and create a password.

  • Complete the registration form using your Yale address and create a password for your account. 

  • Students should select the appropriate option and enter a graduation date. 

  • Click Login and you will be directed to nytimes.com. You should now have full access to nytimes.com and can download the New York Times app for iOS and Android devices.
