Locating information on Private Companies can be difficult - especially financial information. The following databases may be helpful.
Requires user to create an individual user account with a Yale email address, in addition to being on the Yale Network.
- D&B Hoovers (formerly known as Avention and OneSource)
Enter the company name in the search box at the top of the page and select from the list of results. For headquarters, look for a company type of Private Parent
- Bloomberg Available at designated terminals in CSSSI and SOM.
Enter PSCR <GO> to search for private companies.
Available to SOM students only. Not available June through August due to license restrictions. For similar functionality, try S&P NetAdvantage .
