To report a facility-related issue in Ross Library:
- Notify the librarian if present.
- On weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., call SOM Facilities at 203.432.6000 or send an email to SOMfacilities@yale.edu.
- Outside of those hours, call the Yale Control Center at 203-432-6888 for urgent problems only. Urgent problems are conditions that create safety hazards, compromise security, or could cause damage to the building if not addressed promptly.
- For non-urgent problems, please email SOMfacilities@yale.edu. email sent to this address will automatically generate a work ticket in the SOM Service Center system. Non-urgent problems include: room temperature, requests for blinds to be lowered, and housekeeping issues.
